Following the deployment, the brigade conducted its first live-fire exercise with the new howitzers. This deployment marks the first time the PLZ-05 self-propelled howitzer has been specifically assigned to brigade level. The system was originally used at the group army level as a long-range suppression weapon, rather than being directly integrated into brigade-level formations.
