Key Business Highlights for Tesla in Q3

Key highlights include: the adoption rate of Full Self-Driving (FSD) under regulation continues to grow, reaching over 75% of new vehicle deliveries in North America, our most mature market, with a quarterly increase of nearly 20 percentage points. We believe FSD is driving demand in the available market, and we will continue to work with regulators to seek approval in other markets.

Tesla Semi: "We have begun mass production of the Tesla Semi, our Class 8 heavy-duty truck. The top model can travel 500 miles while fully loaded at 82,000 pounds, achieving an efficiency of 1.7 kWh/mile. This efficiency means the energy used by the Tesla Semi is only one-third that of comparable diesel trucks for transporting the same payload. In a transportation market where energy is the largest component of total cost per mile, this will provide significant advantages for operators of the Tesla Semi."

SI Computing: "We plan to achieve 400 MW of SI training computing power by the end of the year to support the development of autonomous software for vehicles and humanoid robots. Additionally, we continue construction at the Austin factory, with plans to begin equipment commissioning in 2027."

Tesla's Robotaxi Service Continues to Expand

Robotaxi: "We have begun deploying Cybercabs into our Robotaxi fleet. As of the end of this quarter, our Robotaxi service has accumulated nearly 2 million miles of unregulated mileage. Operating hours in Austin are from 6 AM to midnight, and we expect to reduce wait times by increasing fleet supply and improving Robotaxi coordination algorithms. Grok is available in the Cybercab, allowing access to Grok Bot and Connectors, enabling users to manage their inbox, calendar, documents, chats, and tasks hands-free via voice commands, transforming the Cybercab into a transportation and productivity space, combined with entertainment options, becoming a second living room."
