INMO GO3 Smart Glasses Launch New Display Technology and AI Translation Features

Smart glasses currently face two major challenges: most products fail to deliver the futuristic display experience we expect, and the lenses have become a significant concern for users. The INMO GO3 addresses these issues while supporting Google's Gemini platform among other features. The promise of the INMO GO3 is to provide AI-centric smart glasses that help users stay connected and complete tasks while reducing reliance on smartphones. A highlight of this product is its built-in display, allowing users to interact with their surroundings without interrupting conversations or checking their phones.

These MicroLED displays provide bright images for each eye (with a brightness of up to 1,500 nits) and have a 30-degree field of view.

INMO GO3 Offers Real-Time Translation and Multifunctional Support

One of the core features of the INMO GO3 is real-time translation, supporting instant translation in 98 languages, with 13 languages available for full offline use. The glasses can detect the speech of people in front of the user and display the translation results directly in their line of sight, allowing users to overcome language barriers without needing a smartphone. Additionally, the GO3 can take notes during meetings and will be able to display summaries directly through the glasses in the future. The display can also serve as a teleprompter or interact with an AI assistant. INMO's AI assistant is powered by Google’s Gemini and OpenAI's ChatGPT, capable of performing various functions such as answering questions, identifying images captured by the lenses, and taking notes.

Furthermore, the display can be used for walking navigation, helping users find their way without using their phones.

Despite offering so many additional features, the INMO GO3 remains lightweight at just 58 grams, slightly heavier than Meta's Ray-Ban glasses (which do not have display functionality). The 8-millimeter temple design ensures that the glasses do not appear bulky and look like regular eyewear. A standout feature of this product is its replaceable battery; considering the limited battery life of smart glasses, INMO has designed the battery to be swappable. When the first battery runs out, users can simply replace it with a fully charged one to continue using the glasses.

The included charging case can also charge the battery, but replacing the battery allows for quicker resumption of use.

INMO GO3 Features Privacy Protection and Enhancement Options

The INMO GO3 is equipped with a lens and provides a privacy protection cover, which effectively obscures the lens, clearly indicating that the lens is not in use. Additionally, the INMO GO3 can enhance its functionality through accessories, such as a speaker that can be used with AI translation, allowing for responses in the language of the other party using AI-simulated voices. There is also a control ring that allows users to interact with the GO3 software without touching the glasses directly. Finally, a sunglass clip can be added to improve the usability of the GO3 outdoors, and there are options for prescription lens inserts.

The INMO GO3 is now available for purchase at a price of $509 (approximately HK$3,972).
