According to foreign media reports, the global artificial intelligence performance analysis firm Artificial Analysis has released its latest assessment data, showing that South Korea has firmly established itself as the world's third-largest player in the global AI power competition, following the United States and China. The firm's AAII (Artificial Analytics Intelligence Index) intelligence index comprehensive assessment indicates that several South Korean tech companies' self-developed foundation large language models have collectively achieved scores of over 30 points.
In the scoring rankings, Motif Technologies' Motif 3 scored 47 points, while UpStage's Solar Pro 4 received 42 points, making them the highest-scoring self-developed models in countries outside of the US and China. Additionally, A.X K2 and LG AI Research Institute's K-ExaOne 2.0 scored 35 and 31 points, respectively. Overall, South Korean foundation models have demonstrated a clear cluster advantage in the AAII intelligence index.
